Where to begin? First of all I am so proud of us we got new cell phones and did not get iPhones! We wanted them sooooo badly but decided not to get them for several reasons:
1. They are expensive
2. I can't use my cell phone at work so didn't need all the cool apps
3. We decided the extra we would spend every month could be spent on satellite Internet instead
4. We even searched around for the best deal and got two phones for free (9.99 shipping) and didn't have to upgrade our package
Then on Monday Scott decided to surprise me and ordered our satellite Internet! Woo Hoo! It got installed today and this is my first official post using it! It's like a whole new world now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought my bathroom paint and Scott says he is gonna paint it tonight for me! I have only had it picked out for 6 months or so, just such a chicken poop when it comes to that stuff - such a commitment to one color. . .
Biggest Loser was stinking awesome last night! I literally sat there and cried a river listening to their stories - I can definitely relate to Burgundy and Tina! I think they are gonna do awesome!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see the rest of the season!
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

The ball is rolling!
That's right girls! I did it! I went to a weight watchers meeting today and I am pretty pumped up! Jackson actually let me stay through MOST of the meeting. Next week I will go with activities for him to do! Anyway, I don't know what it is but I am so stinking excited about this. Ask my sister, I gave her quite the hard time this morning about not going. Here are some highlights of what is going through my crazy head right now. . .
I will no longer say won't (as in go to meeting), can't (as in stick to the plan) or shouldn't (as in spend the $$$ on this). I know the facts show when you attend the meetings you lose weight faster, I know the plan is so flexible - you can literally eat whatever you want, and I am worth $39.95 a month - I easily spend that on fast food every month and won't be eating it anymore because I will be eating healthy food and fast food does not equal healthy food. It is all about choices, my leader said something like this today - "With this program we have choices - we can choose to eat the food that we are craving and account for it in our daily points OR we can choose our bodies are worth the sacrifice and make a healthier choice - either choice is a winner! The only bad choice you can make is to not write it down!" I know real earth shattering statement (ok not really) but SO STINKING TRUE! I am thinking about totally cleaning off my fridge and posting a simple sign that says "You are worth it!" Cause I am, that is my new motto - I am worth it!
So now I am off to figure out how many points will be involved in my spaghetti I am cooking for dinner tonight!

Guess what is back this week?
The Biggest Loser - Season 10!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? I can't. I am so stinking excited. But in honor of this season I am gonna actually do something. . .
I got a coupon in the mail so that I can go back to Weight Watchers and get two months for the price of one. Now that is pretty hard to pass up. Plus all statistics show that you lose more weight if you actually go to the meetings. So I think Tuesday I will start that back. I will keep you posted!

A Season of Change
So I have been a little blog MIA here lately. Been very busy with family events, work, and my kiddos. I titled this post A Season of Change for several reasons. I have this hunch that things are about to start really changing for me, in a good way. Let's run down what I am thinking:
Work - I did get a permanent days position. Woo Hoo! However, I have had a horrible two-three weeks. I have had to deal with devastated children because their mom was killed in a car accident, I have had to deal with physicians who will throw you under the bus when things don't go as planned, I have seen the effects of other people's poor care. I am struggling because when I get into a critical situation I don't feel like I am knowledgeable enough to help (don't worry I always ask for someone else to be there) but frustrated because I want to be able to take care of them on my own. I am definitely in a season of doubt about the area I have chosen to work in.
Kids - my kids are great, they are so forgiving and resilient. Thank you Lord for that! During the summer working 12 hour shifts was wonderful, I got to spend 4 days a week with my kiddos. Now that Hannah is back in school it is a little different. I am finding that I am having to miss things like soccer games, school functions. Hannah hasn't been able to sign up for the dance class she wants to go to because I can't always get her there. I am starting to feel like now I would have been better off staying in a Monday-Friday position. At least then I would be home to cook them dinner every night and off on the weekends. Again doubting the path my career is taking.
Marriage - Scott is so good to me. We really are in a great place in our marriage. We don't always get along, right now is definitely a spell of that business, but I know at the end of the day he loves me, provides for me, and is a wonderful daddy. I only hope that he feels the same way I do, and that he knows how much I love him. I don't know that I would call this a season of doubt really, not really sure what to call it.
Ghosts - I have some ghosts in my closet that have me comparing myself to alot. Not just one, several. But their lingering leaves me doubting my abilities in lots of different areas. Again more doubt.
So, where do I think this is all going? I dunno, I am praying alot about it. Taking things one day at a time. I do know this, in the past I have repeated this verse over and over and over until I felt certain that God was in control not me, so I plan to use this again!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

This week I have choosen my step-mom (I just hate that word) mom Cindy. Today is her birthday! I hope she has a wonderful day!
Cindy has been married to my dad pretty well all my life. Her and I will both say I wasn't always the fondest of her, especially when I was a kid. But somewhere around my teenage years, I think, I finally decided if she stuck around this long she prolly wasn't going anywhere. (Have I ever mentioned she is a verystubborn determined woman?) And then somewhere around the time I had my little princess I decided she was pretty stinking awesome and I am pretty luck to have her for my "other mother". She loves my kids, my husband, and me very much and we are so happy my dad has her in his life! Plus she came along with some pretty cool bagagge in the form of three great step-brothers brothers and I got a baby sister out of the deal too!
Happy Birthday Cindy!
***** Note to self - do you realize you have little or no pictures of you and her? She is always looking down! Make her pose for a stinking picture every once in a while would yah?!******

Question for the audience?
Do we have any scrappers out there in the blog world? If you are one let me know cause I got the itch started to start up again. Could be because I had out my scrapbooks showing Hannah them. She got such a kick out of the books I had done before we had her. She was amazed at how skinny and hot her parents used to be!
