I know I am supposed to be MIA, but I gotta tell you gals you are the best. I don't know who all is praying for me but I must admit I have had the best 4 days in a while. I think it all started with my last post. I got a call from PCRMC Friday for an interview in a department that doesn't even list an opening. That interview is tomorrow. I finished up one of two big projects for school and I got a weekend away with my hubbie without my little angels. And I just keep singing Kim's favorite song over and over and over in my head. I have to get a copy of that! Reading Chrissy talk about her weight struggles has somehow given me new motivation in my get healthy journey. BTW I bought The New Atkins For a New You book Thursday and am pretty excited. It lets you have caffeine! I always get the "Atkins Flu" when I start it so I always give up about day three and I know if I could just have a cup of coffee or a Diet Dr Pepper I would feel better but before you couldn't and now you can! So I am gonna start it tomorrow! Yeah me! I know this is getting off track but the more I think about the way our grandparents ate compared with how we eat today and I think about what has changed the answer smacks me in the face like a V-8 commercial - processed foods! Duh! All the convenience crap we ingest is making us fat! It makes so much sense but is hard to break the habit. Anyway, back to the point, thanks for praying for me and keep it up, I still have 39 days until my sanity is restored!

MIA
To all my bloggy friends:
I will be MIA for a bit. You see I am on a serious countdown with school, but that also mean serious bear down and get 'r done! I am happy to report in 42 days I will graduate, but that means I have to take a bit of a blogation. I will miss you all, and will be checking in on your blogs, but no posts from me for a bit.
I will give you a quick update.
April 3rd my little man turned 3! He had a great party, and didn't cry this year. Last year he cried most of the party.
Easter was great, how can it not be? Easter is the day we all got hope.
This week has been good, I had an interview for a job in the Emergency Department at Salem Hospital - I know what you all are thinking. Salem? Well it would be a days position, they hire new grads unlike Phelps County which does not hire new grads for their ED anymore, and yah gotta start somewhere. It went really well so lets keep our fingers crossed. I have a couple of other prospects working right now too, puttin my feelers out at PCRMC so we will see. I just really need a days job for my family, so pray for me in this new job exploration.
Scott is great, Hannah is wonderful, and Jack is growing like a weed. It always freaks me out when you go from pants to shorts or vice versa - it's like you all the sudden see how much they have grown. And Hannah, man she has got some looooong, skinny legs - got em from her dad NOT me!
As far as me, I cannot complain, I am not pregnant yet (bummer) but I really believe God knows what he is doing on that one and it will happen when it happens or we will be very content with our two great kids. Either way, fine by us. I was kinda in a funk most of February and March but BANG Spring arrived and I am fine. I am starting to really believe in that whole seasonal depression thing. . .
I know you gals will understand my absence. Remember I am thinking of you, and expect you all to be praying for me!

Seriously?
Is this really happening? Have my friends really quit reading my blog? Do I really have no comments for two posts in a row? (hysterical sobbing here)

More Funnies
Out of the mouth of Jackson:
After his first day at his new daycare we were laying on my bed together watching a little tv before bedtime. I was asking him questions about his new daycare. He answered 3 or so and then said "Shub up". I of course asked him to repeat what he said, he says to me "Shub up". I swallowed hard and said "Jackson are you telling me to Shut up?". His reply (of course priceless) was "Yah Mom, shub up, I tired". Now I know, I should not have laughed but how do you not? Seriously? I of course in my nicest mommy voice explained to him that we don't tell people to shut up.
And for the other funny. Every Monday night Hannah has gymnastics. We take turns driving her and Chloe and always meet up at McDonald's. We (both sets of parents) have started a bad habit of getting them Happy Meals when they are done. So Jackson and I are at McDonald's waiting to pick up Sissy. She of course gets in the car with a Happy Meal. Now, I had fed Jackson a much healthier dinner earlier in the evening. He wasn't starved. As we are pulling out he says to me with his little chubby hands turned up in the perfect little position as if saying "huh" and says "Mommy, me want a Happy burger please". Hannah and I bust into hysterical laughter. If you guys could have seen his precious little face, and he used his manners. So of course we turned back into the parking lot and got his "Happy burger".

Funny
Does anyone need a new excuse for calling in to work/school? I have a great one!
Good morning *insert name*. I am calling in today because I am stuck in my garage.
Yep! I am stuck in my garage. You see the cables that attach to the spring that pulls the door up and down came undone. Well one side came undone last night. So me in my brilliance decided to undo the other side so that it wouldn't be all cock-eyed in the track. Hmmmm, big mistake. Cause this morning when I went to open it, all I got was about 6 inches. Suburban no fit under 6 inches. So being the industrious woman I am thought oh I will just unhook it with the little "emergency latch" that we use to open it when we have no electric. Again, big mistake. Garage door slam to ground. Cause the cables are undone and so the super strong magical spring that makes it go up and down won't let me and my super woman strength open it. So again being independent and not needing a man to fix this reconnected the one side of the cable. Well I couldn't get enough tension in the cable so I can't fix it. It will have to wait until Scott gets home at 9. So I called my instructor with the best excuse ever. Good thing Hannah was staying at the sister in law's house, she can get to school. Just Jack and I hanging out here, held prisoner in my house.

70
What is significant about 70? Let me tell you. In 70 days I will be graduating from RN school!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? I am starting to get to the point where I can look back and be proud of how far I have come. I have made such good friends in Nursing school and am gonna be really, really sad when we all graduate. I have gotten very used to spending my days next to Jinna and Michelle. Anyway - in honor of my 70 days remaining I am compiling a list.
The top 7 things I am gonna do when nursing school is over!
1. Go to Florida! Yep! Can't wait!
2. Relax (see #1)
3. Get my house in order! I hate the feeling like it is always half-clean and closets that are busting at the seams and dirty window sills and oh wow the list could go on and on.
4. Spend time with my kids! This will start at #1 and continue day after day after day. I hate that I feel like my kiddos have suffered, I hope they remember seeing their mom work hard to achieve a goal and not resent the time I had to spend studying.
5. Be the wife my husband deserves! He has been a trooper through all this (for the record he went through paramedic school first, this was the deal). But I do know it has been hard on him too. He has had to deal with a cranky, mean, exhausted, frustrated wife.
6. Have a baby! Yep! We really, truly want to have another baby and hope it happens soon!
7. Give back. So many friends and family members have helped us through this process, I hope I can return the favor to them or pay it forward to someone else.
Anyway, suddenly 70 days does not seem so far away!
